12 DAYS / 11 NIGHTS — Spiritual guide: Ciro
Peru ranks among the finest tourist destinations in the world, with everything needed to satisfy even the most demanding travellers.
Landscapes: their diversity is as surprising as their beauty. In barely an hour’s flight you go from the desert to the glaciers of the Andes, and from the steppes of the Altiplano to the humid Amazon rainforest.
History: Sillustani, Cusco, Sacsayhuamán, Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu… the Inca legacy keeps revealing its mysteries. To it are added earlier civilisations such as Chavín, Paracas, Nazca, Moche, Tiahuanaco or Chimú, along with the remarkable colonial monuments left by the Spanish conquest.
Culture: at the crossroads of the New and the Old World, religious festivals, cuisine, music, dance and crafts reflect a rich heritage. Since it is impossible to see everything in a single trip, this programme brings together the most important and accessible: Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu; the colonial treasures of Lima; and the Puno region, with Lake Titicaca — the highest navigable lake in the world — and the floating Uros islands. Its Andean landscapes are ideal for photographing llamas, alpacas, guanacos, vicuñas and vizcachas.
Throughout the journey there will be opportunities to meet Andean shamans and take part in traditional ceremonies and rituals.

Day 02 — Tuesday, May 11, 2027 — LIMA – CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY
Breakfast. Transfer to Lima airport and flight to Cusco. Arrival and departure by bus to the Sacred Valley, where we will have our first contact with the energy of Mother Earth (Pachamama). Meeting with a shaman from southern Peru, a master of Quechua and Aymara rites and ceremonies. We will work with the spiritual guide to harmonise with the vital energy of the five elements: earth, water, fire, air and spirit. Your work begins near the archaeological site of Pisac, where we pay homage to the spirits of the Sacred Valley, known by their Quechua name: “Malkus”. Walk through the Pisac market, the most typical in Latin America, with its cobbled streets, single-storey terracotta houses and tiled roofs; there we will see villagers in their traditional dress: colourful ponchos, chullo (hat) and sandals. In the afternoon we take part in a ceremony of communion between our ancestors and the Incas, made through chicha, the sacred Inca drink brewed from maize.

Its ancient inhabitants revered the Urubamba river, the source of life of the whole Sacred Valley of the Incas — which is why it is called Amaru (Sacred Serpent). Visit to Machu Picchu and, at the end of the day after dinner, we go to the hot springs to take part in a ritual connected with the element of water.

Breakfast. Transfer to the train station and departure by train to Ollantaytambo. Near Ollantaytambo we take part in a ceremony with the sacred coca leaf before the image of Tunupa, one of the most important Andean prophets, who for the Incas embodied the cosmic vitality of Wiracocha; Tunupa’s profile is carved into the rocky slope of Pinkuyllana hill, facing Ollantaytambo. Water ceremony at the spring of the sacred site. Picnic lunch on the road and departure by bus to Moray to admire the spectacular circular terraces that sink into the earth, where we hold a ceremony and meditations. Day 06 — Saturday, May 15, 2027 — CUSCO – LLACHÓN – LAKE TITICACA
Breakfast. Departure by private bus to Puno: the journey between Cusco and Puno is an extraordinary experience. We cross small villages scattered over a fertile landscape at 3,200 metres above sea level, before gradually climbing to the Altiplano, one of the most beautiful regions of Peru. Our first stop is Tipón, one of the most beautiful springs of the Inca Empire, where we reflect on the origin of life. Visit to the Temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi, the creator god of the Andean world. We continue to the shores of Lake Titicaca, where we are welcomed by families from the Llachón region and take part in a ceremony connected with the element of fire, followed by music and dance. The rooms with local families are very simple, without running water or electricity, but the welcome is warm and previous groups have always been delighted with their hosts.

From the boat, in the middle of the lake, the group takes part in a ceremony in honour of Mama Cocha (Mother of the Waters), the goddess who in Inca mythology embodied femininity, thanked for a good day’s fishing and for calming the storms of the lake. Warm welcome from the islanders and check-in at your rooms. After free time for lunch, walk around the island with your guide, an expert in Aymara traditions. Breakfast. The day is devoted to the Ceremony of the Gate of Aramu Muru and to the Temple of Fertility. Near Lake Titicaca, in the heart of the Valley of the Spirits, lies Hayu Marca, a multidimensional portal carved into the natural rock, 7 metres high by 7 metres wide, with an enigmatic 2-metre doorway at its centre. The Altiplano is full of mysteries and one of the greatest is that of Aramu Muru: legend tells that the Inca priest of the Seven Rays summoned the shamans of the region to the portal of Hayu Marca, showed them the key of the gods and performed a sacred ceremony with the golden disc; the portal opened onto a long tunnel bathed in blue light, and Aramu Muru fled through it never to return. Ceremony at the Temple of Fertility. Afterwards you will have the chance to meet a shaman who performs rituals with coca leaves — an individual experience offered only to those who wish to take part (not included in the tour price).
